The location is convenient and the friendly staff definitely made my stay more enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view-something I always appreciate as a travel consultant who knows the effects of a great view! I particularly enjoyed the spa facilities, with the wellness center offering a relaxing atmosphere, albeit at an extra cost. Breakfast and dinner were pleasant, boasting a decent variety; however, the buffet can get repetitive after a few days. If you opt for half board, wait staff were quick to replenish items when they ran low. For anyone weighing luxury against value, New Skanpol stands out with its amenities like a fitness center and good housekeeping. Consider the overall experience-you might find it more worthwhile than you expect. I would rate it at an 8.5 if possible.
